My intent being a private teacher is to form in my students a thorough perception as well as self-confidence at tests and having the ability to deal with unknown cases. The base of my ideology is the belief that learning takes place in an area of reciprocal trust in which the scholar is stimulated to think and make relationships on their own. According to my practice individual tuition has a unique advantage to learners through the opportunity to break down the scholars' own obstacles to learning in a way that sets the foundations for a thorough and lasting perception of the subject matter.
Analytic thinking
My approach depends on the child's needs and learning style. However, the basis of my teaching philosophy is motivating learners to think on their own, employing existing situations everywhere it can be. |My opinion is that it is really important to supply children with a working knowledge and to teach them analytical abilities for improving upon this knowledge. Tutoring a person to think critically is at the core of the things a scholar should really withdraw from any subject training.
We learn through examples
Mentoring scholars belongs to the most lasting increases a tutor can bring in, and it is a technique, that I consider to be enjoyable and beneficial. From my practice, I discovered the importance of engaging students by using examples and of delivering data at a level that assumes perception but not necessarily knowledge, mixing the known with the unknown within a combination which brings the learner the disposition of probability instead of that of impossibility that official and impressive techniques can impose.
How I teach
I begin with themes the students are familiar with and proceed increasingly towards more complex parts as their self-esteem is being built. I tend not to lecture to children or ask them to memorise Information.
I constantly focus on exam-style as well as recent queries to analyse, exercise and improve the student's comprehension and performance. I will also give a lot of emphasis to many of the less vital but obvious skills for instance, essay structure and technique, logical thought, and the effective use of numbers and graphs.
